Anaya Latin Dance is available for affordable private lessons for individuals, couples, or groups. For individuals and couples, simply sign up! For groups, please contact us.

SCHOOL & UNIVERSITY EDUCATIONAL PRESENTATIONS AND RESIDENCIES

INVITE US AS GUESTS AT YOUR FESTIVAL OR INTENSIVE
We can perform and teach Cuban son, casino, salsa suelta, and more. We can also offer DJ services and party animation.

EVENT ENTERTAINMENT & ANIMATION

At the 2019 Seattle Cuban Dance Fest

OUR EXPERIENCES

In addition to our individual dance backgrounds, since forming Anaya Latin Dance 2018, we have taught numerous guest workshops in local public schools, at the University of Alaska, and in the wider Anchorage community. We have performed at many local events in Alaska, such as for various company and non-profit galas, for the US military, at the Alaska State Fair, for the Haines Chamber of Commerce, and more. In addition to these involvements, here are some of our other notable guest experiences:

NOTABLE GUEST TEACHING EXERIENCES:

  • July 2019 and June/July 2021: Taught a 6-week guest workshop for high school students in the TRIO Upward Bound program on the University of Alaska campus.
  • February 2020: Taught two workshops at the 12th annual San Francisco Salsa Rueda Festival in San Francisco, California.
  • July 2020: Taught one week of guest workshops on Cuban popular dances for the Anchorage Classical Ballet Academy’s summer dance intensive in Anchorage, Alaska.

NOTABLE GUEST PERFORMANCES:

  • July 2019 and July 2022: Performed at the 2019 Seattle Cuban Dance Festival in Seattle, Washington.
  • February 2020 and February 2022: Performed at the 12th Annual San Francisco Salsa Rueda Festival in San Francisco, California.
